Who we are

The Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference is the largest undergraduate physics conference in Canada. This year CUPC being hosted at Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario from October 20th to October 24th, for Canada’s 150th anniversary and Carleton’s 75th anniversary.

 

 

What we do

The CUPC brings together the brightest physics students from around Canada to present research, network with peers, and listen to distinguished speakers from a variety of fields and backgrounds. Attendees will get the opportunity to tour labs at the NRC and Carleton University, meet professionals from academia and industry, and attend workshops on a variety of topics, such as diversity in Canadian physics or getting into graduate school

Career Panel

Our career panel will be held in the hotel, at the Victoria Ballroom. The panel will be composed of three speakers, representing academics, alternative careers, and industry within physics.

Student Presentations

Student presentations will be held at the hotel. Five presentations will be run concurrently, spanning a variety of topics.

A break for attendees to get lunch downtown.
